Fragments of Hope

Fragments of hope

Fall like discarded feathers

Red petals

Cloud the sky

Concealing the light

Drifting

In limitless motion.

————

Shards of fire

Flash before my eyes

Yellow swords

Stab my mind

Breaking the darkness

Bringing

An eternal peace.

———–

Sighs of truth

Liberate my forgotten soul

Golden strands

Free my imagination

Quickening hope

Illuminating

My fractured vision.

Well that just about sums up the writers life especially “Illuminating my fractured vision”. However even after posting I tend to continually tweak my work to correct, adjust, make clearer and tend my babies! But enough of me, I loved the strength in your writing and the passion it conveys.
