Embrace Me Again

enbrace

Rekindle my hope

Embrace me again

Touch me with grace

Mercy poured from love

 ———-

Starve harms rebellion

Rejections wretched sea

Blind to temptation

Drifting from the truth.

———–

Remove deceits cloak

Violate shames courage

A crumb of compassion

Heals my frail heart.

 ———-

Awaken to mercy

Faith’s sweet inclination

Interwoven in union

Abiding in love once more

I am not sure why but when I first looked at the picture I kept thinking it was a picture of someone trying to look like Darth Vader. Not sure if it is because I have been sick and when I look at computer screens or anything lit up, I keep seeing double or my head throbs. Anyway I finally enlarged the picture and figure out that it was a couple hugging. Then I read your poem again and realized how well it goes with your poem. Very nicely written and I like it very much. Hugs are very important and calming. Love lost and then found again should hopefully be much better the second time around. I wonder if that is true.

Thank you ever so much for sharing this with us at Theme Thursday. Hope it was okay to relink it up again. I also hope you are having a restful weekend.

    God bless.

Thank you for reading my poems. Please don't feel you have to comment. I enjoyed writing them, I hope you enjoyed reading them, Be blessed.
