The Gift

images (59)

He gently entered a different world

Reached for the door and silently came inside

Light illuminating the prison cell.

—–

He walked through the dark limitless graveyard

Heart pounding, legs shaking, broken hearted,

Conquered death, slowly destroying evil.

—–

He came leaning on a miserable crutch

Every moment, every day, endured pain,

Tasted the salt as tears stung his pure cheeks.

—–

He stood on the verge of this endless bridge

Felt the moment, quiet motivation,

Jumped, turned, danced with anguish, eyes wide open.

—–

He reconciled a world, ripped, torn apart

From reality, from eternal alienation

Sacrificed everything in his pure love.

A sweet dose of Christ consciousness, yes, please; reminding us that regardless of the strife, hate, violence, & cruelty all around us, the universe does have a common denominator, Love, the solution, the answer to everything. Nice job; thanks.
