If Love

If love

was relentless

Committed

Nothing we do

Would dissuade it

Would withhold it

If love

was relentless

Sacrificial

Nothing we do

Could separate us

Could disqualify us

If love

was relentless.

I truly believe that real love will always be relentless, im many ways. Perhaps a closer bond in age, becomes part of the relentless adherance. Love knows it ways very well!!

I didn’t see this as referring to romantic love, a valid love for sure. But I see it more as referring to a universal love, a global love. How different the world would be if we really loved relentlessly. Good write Alan. I enjoyed reading this.
