Unmoved
Crafted in hard mahogany
Battered with age
Ruined through indifference
Your weathered frame
Times forgotten door.
———–
Carefully
Through trembling shadows
Past distant clouds
Into eternal dreams
Slowly reaching out
Life’s forgotten hope.
———–
Entering
Loves endless summer
Joys remembered thread
Sacrifices silent grace
Freed from darkness
Mercy’s forgotten bridge.

this was well done..beautiful..touching sorrow in your poems..
“Mercy’s forgotten bridge” — lots to ponder here.
Hmm. It’s never too late for mercy.
This is so contemplative , dreamlike and prayerful….I loved it, especially the hopefulness of the last line.
I am glad one can still see mercy’s bridge~
This was beautiful layered 😀
So sad
