Waiting

dog by scavengercat808

I stood there

Growing older

I watch them

From my doorway

I put down

The boundary

I hold my stare

As the light fades

I never found it

The lost moments

I see them

In the distance

I want to leave here

Run away

I am waiting

Is it only love

That heals my heart?
