Lies and Truth

Downs bush 1

Lies hide in the small things

The whisper that assails the soul

Inclinations of a degraded heart

Memories of a father’s rejection

A doctors comforting wisdom

Haunting steps of a unknown stranger

The fatalistic doom of the news reporter

Hidden in the shame of our failures.

 ———————-

Truth resides in the heart of love

The shout that thunders from eternity

Awakened in a beautiful new spirit

Claimed by the love of my Father

A glorious embrace of heavens acceptance

Welcomed in the joyous divine dance

The thrilling adventure of participation

Sharing in the wonder of God’s life.
