Another written letter
Another scribbled note
Another hidden text
Another word of reassurance
Another whispered fear
Another hollow scream

Another hem to touch

I like the other hem to touch…and the reference behind it…smiles.
This makes all the difference, another hand reaching out ~ May we always make full use of that time for another one ~
Oh yes those hands of time do fly with all those things going on. Glad there is a hand reaching out as well–leaves the poem on a positive note.

Very creative take on the prompt, Alan. Your use of anaphora repetition throughout, imbues the piece with the monotone quality of a “list” which, when juxtaposed against the closing lines, is dramatic and uplifting.
